To maximize resources and efficiencies, Omaha Steaks is transitioning its Snyder, Nebraska production facility operations to its two production facilities in Omaha, Nebraska.
Team members at the Snyder facility have been offered transfers to one of the company’s Omaha facilities or, alternatively, offered a severance package based on years of service plus an additional 60 days pay and benefits. Local businesses hiring are encouraged to contact the Omaha Steaks Human Resources department so that the company can help create awareness of local Dodge County opportunities.
“Omaha Steaks continues to thrive and make Nebraska-based capital investments in its production facilities. The transition from Snyder to Omaha-based operations positions the company to make more investments in fewer facilities and to more rapidly grow our capacity. We did not make the decision lightly. We know it will impact our Snyder team members and the local community,” said Omaha Steaks President & Chief Operating Officer, Nate Rempe.
“We sincerely appreciate the Snyder team members and value their contributions to the company over the years. All Snyder team members have been offered transfers to one of our Omaha facilities and we are working closely with each individual to support their employment transfer within the company or to other local businesses.”
