North Platte Police make arrests for procuring alcohol & tobacco to minors

North Platte — North Platte Police Department received information in the first week of June, 2024, that adults residing in the 100 block of S. Oak, a central residential area, were providing alcohol and tobacco to minors.

Deputy Chief Kendall Allison said in a news release today (Tuesday) that a subsequent investigation led to the arrest of 66-year-old Nanette Timms for seventeen counts of Procuring Alcohol to Minors, a Class I Misdemeanor and nine counts of Selling or Giving Tobacco or a Nicotine Product to a Minor, a Class III Misdemeanor.

40-year-old Angela Timms was cited for one count of Selling or Giving Tobacco or a Nicotine Product or Device to a Minor, a Class III Misdemeanor.

33-year-old Jakob Centeno was cited for one count of Procuring Alcohol to Minors.

Thirteen citations were issued to juveniles for Minor in Possession of Alcohol and six citations were issued to minors for Use of Tobacco or Nicotine Product or Device by a Minor a Class V Misdemeanor.
