The Nebraska Department of Transportation has announced the new Ogallala East Bound Rest Area along Interstate 80 is open for the traveling public.
It features 61 truck parking stalls, 54 passenger stalls and 6 RV stalls.
NDOT describes it as having a unique design that serves as a gateway into Nebraska from Colorado by pointing west.
