Boelus-The winning continued on Tuesday night for the Loomis Juniors Baseball team as they downed Ravenna 9-0 to claim the C6 Area tournament title. Loomis improved to 18-2-1 on the season as they went 4-0 in post season play. Jayson Jorgensen spoke with coach TJ Vacura about Loomis’ big summer.
On Tuesday, Graham Trompke picked up the win on the mound as he threw the complete game shutout. Ben Trompke has put together a big season for Loomis, he is hitting 393 and leads the team with over 38 innings pitched, and has 78k’s. In 18 games, Jace Schukar is hitting 435, Gavin Norris has hit 364 in 18 games this season. Loomis has not lost a game this season to another Junior team. Hartington is the host site of the Class C tournament that is set to begin on Saturday July 20th.
