Kearney-With the departure of All-American Quarterback T.J Davis, UNK will have a new quarterback this fall. This off-season the Lopers added graduate transfer Reagan Jones who has seen plenty of playing time in his career at MIAA rival Missouri Western. This week at MIAA media days KRVN’s Jayson Jorgensen spoke with the new Loper signal caller.
The native of Wichita spent four years at Missouri Western from 2020-23. He was on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll thee times. As a Griffon, he was 246 of 423 (.581 compl. pct.) for 3,043 yards, 17 TD’s and 12 interceptions . He also had 218 carries for 1,350 yards (6.2 ypc) and 14 scores and was 8-6 as a starter. Jones and the Lopers begin fall camp on August 5th.
