Hall Co accident results in alcohol arrest

Nebraska State Patrol troopers and Hall County Sheriff's Office deputies reponded to a rollover crash around 2:40pm Sunday on Interstate 80 westbound near mile marker 299 or about one mile west of Wood River.


According to State Patrol, the preliminary investigation shows that a Toyota Corolla rear ended a Subaru Outback, causing the Subaru to lose control and roll onto the shoulder. All patients were transported to CHI Health- St. Francis in Grand Island for treatment of minor injuries.


The driver of the Corolla, Ryan Webster, 42, of North Augusta, South Carolina, was treated for minor injuries and then lodged in Hall County Jail for driving under the influence, failure to submit to a pre-test, obstruction, third degree assault, and careless driving.   Wood River Fire & Rescue and Shelton Volunteer Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
