Holdrege, Neb. — One person died in a two vehicle crash Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in Holdrege according to the Holdrege Police department. The location of the accident was 13th St. and the Highway 183 intersection located on the south side of Holdrege.
Holdrege Police Department determined from an investigation that a passenger car had proceeded from 13th St. and turned onto Hwy. 183 in front of a pickup with a trailer when the collision occurred.
The driver of the passenger car, Sandra Monthey, 81, of Republican City, died from injuries sustained in the accident. The driver of the pickup, Garland Snow, 70, of Kearney, was transported to Phelps Memorial Health Center.
