Bertrand, Neb – The 2024 Bertrand Vikings look to continue what they had last season when they finished 16-14 record. Bertrand will return most of their roster from last year. Amanda Gardine is taking full possession of the head coaching title after spending the last couple season alongside co-head coach Kevin Lavene.

Coach Gardine speaks with KUVR’s Jon Schilling about the upcoming season.

It’s safe to say the Vikings have plenty of optimism coming into the fall. Bertrand started last season winning eight of their first 10 games. Gardine knows she has a team that could not only match that fast-paced start, but they also have enough experience this time around to maintain that level of execution.

The Vikings open their season at home against Southwest. First serve is set for 6 pm.
