BERTRAND – Bertrand announced that they are constructing a new fire station that is set to be constructed by fall of 2024.

The original structure was built in 1963 with an addition being added in 1989. With the need for more and bigger pieces of equipment, the decision was made to construct a new building. The new station will be able to hold twelve pieces of equipment. The board of the Fire Protection District approved the construction for what will be a 1.4 million dollar fire station.

It is scheduled for completion in fall of 2024 and Weisheit Construction of Stamford will be the general contractor.
