A memorial graveside service for Clarence “Dick” Pfeiffer will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at the Oxford Cemetery in Oxford, Nebraska with Pastor Dan Wiese officiating.

Clarence Richard “Dick” Pfeiffer, 84 years of age, of San Bruno, California, passed away, on February 24, 2024, at Christina’s Care Home in San Bruno. Dick was born in Oxford, on May 16, 1939, the eldest of three children, born to Clarence F. and Mildred A. (Lueking) Pfeiffer. He received his education from Oxford Public School and graduated with the class of 1956.

Dick was very intelligent, and his degrees are an alphabet soup:  BSEE, JD, MBA: Engineering, Law, and Business. He practiced them all having been a Research Engineer at Magnavox, A Patent Attorney, and also ran his own business at one time. He also had a private pilot’s license and flew small aircraft.

Dick was always great with electronics and made many friends through Ham Radio and enjoyed many Ham Radio field day camping trips.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mildred Pfeiffer; brother-in-law, Ron Niles; and one niece, Racheal Kucera.

His two sisters survive him: Phyllis Niles of Adams, Nebraska; Carol (Joe) Toman of Clarkson, Nebraska; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

There will be no visitation or memorial book signing, the family is honoring Dick’s wish for cremation.

A memorial has been established in Dick’s honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
