Calling all aspiring teen bakers 5th-12th grade! Join us for a deliciously fun event – the Teen Chef Challenge: Cake Decorating Extravaganza!

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀:

𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗻: Visit the library to choose a cake pan of your preference. With an array of shapes, sizes, and fun characters available, pick the perfect canvas for your cake creation.

𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗯 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝘅: Your registration includes a cake mix.

𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀: Let your imagination run wild! Decorate your cake masterpiece using your own unique style and creativity. Whether it’s frosting, sprinkles, or edible decorations, make it as eye-catching and scrumptious as possible.

𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲: Once your cake is decorated, snap a photo of it. You can email it to , send it as a message to our library’s Facebook page, or bring in a physical photo to share your delightful creation.

𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲: Starting February 15th, the voting kicks off on our library’s Facebook page. Rally your friends and family to vote for your cake design. Encourage them to like, comment, and share your entry!

𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Voting ends on February 29th. On this leap year day, we’ll announce the one standout cake decorator whose creation has captured the most votes on our Facebook page!
