Camarillo, Cal. — Gas Prices Dropped Nine Cents Over the Past Two Weeks to a New National Average of $3.43 a Gallon–a Drop of Eighteen Cents From Six Weeks Ago and Fifty-three Cents From a Year Ago.

Oil Industry Analyst Trilby Lundberg Says the Reasons for the Drop Include the End of the Summer Travel Season and a Return to Full Capacity at Refineries in Illinois and Ohio That Were Limited Due to Weather.

She Adds That an Additional Seasonal Reason Could Drive Prices Lower…

Summer Blend is More Expensive to Manufacture.

The average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas Monday in Nebraska is $3.16, down about 4 cents from one week ago according to Triple-A.
