Construction of ALLO Fiber in Crete is Complete
April 8th, 2024 | KTMX/KAWL News

ALLO announced its intention to build a 100% fiber-optic network in Crete in February 2023. Construction began in July 2023, and they are happy to announce construction is complete. ALLO now provides local businesses, residents, and governmental entities with internet, TV, phone, and managed service solutions over an all-fiber network.

“It is good news to know that the construction phase in the community is complete. Working with the ALLO team has been a seamless experience for us. They were efficient, conscientious, and sensitive to the property owners’ requests and concerns. This is a great opportunity for the residents of Crete to have ALLO services available. They are a tremendous partner for the Crete and Doane communities, and we are very excited to have them here,” said Crete Mayor Dave Bauer.

Crete joins over 40 communities across three states experiencing the ALLO Fiber difference. Crete’s 10 GIGenabled network is built to serve the community today and for decades into the future. Community members can stop by the ALLO store at 1228 Main Avenue to learn more about ALLO or sign up for services. The ALLO store celebrated its grand opening with the Crete Chamber of Commerce on April 3rd.

Regional General Manager Dave Miller further shared his excitement for the end of construction, “We
appreciate the community’s patience during our construction phase. The real excitement begins as Crete
experiences ALLO’s all-fiber network connectivity and local service. We look forward to serving businesses’ managed services and cybersecurity needs, as well as residents who deserve fast and reliable connectivity.”

ALLO will study the feasibility of extending its fiber network to unserved areas as the community develops. Established development areas outside the city limits are also considered. Visit AlloFiber.com/Crete for more information, to sign up for services, or to submit an unserved area for consideration.
