NSAA Class B Boys State Golf coming back to Scottsbluff-Gering

(SCOTTSBLUFF-GERING, NE) – The Scottsbluff-Gering State Golf Host Committee announces today that the Nebraska School Activities Association Board of Directors have awarded the bid for another four years of NSAA Class B Boys State Golf Championships to Scottsbluff-Gering for 2025-2028.

“The NSAA is excited to return to Scottsbluff and Gering for the 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028 Boys Golf Championships. These communities provide our member schools and students with unmatched hospitality while providing excellent venues for state championship golf”, said NSAA Executive Director, Jennifer Schwartz. “The NSAA Staff and Board of Directors are extremely thankful to the Western Nebraska State Golf Committee for their time, effort and dedication to NSAA events.”

“Our committee is honored to partner with the NSAA for an additional four years of Boys State Golf in Scottsbluff-Gering”, stated Dave Hoxworth, Chairman of the State Golf Host Committee. “Because of the outstanding support from our two communities, two great golf venues, our corporate sponsors and our dedicated volunteers, we pride ourselves in hosting a great event that represents all we have to offer in Western Nebraska!”

The 2024 Class B Boys State Golf Championships will be played this year at Scotts Bluff Country Club on May 21-22, 2024.

Today’s announcement follows a second 4-year bid awarded to Scottsbluff-Gering for the NSAA Class B Girls State Golf Championships in 2024-2027.
