Due to forecasted inclement weather, the Nebraska softball team has altered its weekend schedule against Northwestern at Bowlin Stadium.

The Huskers and Wildcats will play at 5:30 p.m. on Friday as originally scheduled, weather permitting. On Saturday, Nebraska and Northwestern will now play a doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m. If all three games of the series are completed on Saturday, there will be no game on Sunday.

Fans are advised that the Nebraska football Red-White Spring Game is also scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday. The parking lots at Haymarket Park will charge a fee for football parking until 11 a.m., but softball fans can park for free by showing their softball ticket to the parking attendant.

Fans with a ticket to Saturday’s game can use their ticket for both games. Fans with a ticket to Sunday’s game will be issued a refund.

Nebraska will retire the jersey of Husker great Taylor Edwards before game two on Saturday before honoring eight Husker seniors following game two.
