Authorities say a Kimball man lost his life in a two-vehicle collision on the interstate Friday afternoon.
The Nebraska State Patrol says 47-year-old Chad Cook died from injuries suffered when his pickup collided with a semi in the I-80 construction zone a few miles west of Kimball.
NSP spokesman Cody Thomas says Cook’s pickup was eastbound and crossed the center line.
Cook was pronounced deceased at the scene, the semi-driver was treated for minor injuries, and the crash remains under investigation.
