The Gering Bulldogs stayed unbeaten with a Friday night road win at Ogallala by the final of 28-6 to improve to 4-0 on the season.

Ogallala ground out an opening drive touchdown that lasted nearly the entire first quarter but after that Gering pitched a shutout the rest of the way.

Gering got two second quarter touchdowns passes from Rece Knight with Barron Williams on the receiving end of 21 and 50 yard strikes as Gering took a 12-8 lead to the locker room at halftime.

Neither team scored in the third quarter and then Creighton Beals for Gering ripped off a 83 yard touchdown run and Bo Gable had a 48 yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter as the Bulldogs put the game on ice.

Gering is now 4-0 for the first time in a long time. It would be before 2003 which is as far back as the NSAA record keeping goes currently on their website.

Gering will host McCook 3-1 McCook next Friday night with a time change now scheduled for 6 pm MT.
