There’s some unfortunate news for Panhandle rodeo fans, as the Champions Challenge Xtreme Roughstock has been cancelled for 2024.
This week, organizer Riley Haug of Haug Rodeo Productions announced on Facebook that the decision came after some unfortunate circumstances arose over the past few weeks. He adds that refunds for all ticketholders will be issued as soon as possible, and apologizes for any inconvenience.
The event has been a hit at the Scotts Bluff County Fairgrounds the past two years, and featured some of the top PRCA cowboys on the circuit in bull riding, saddle bronc and bareback riding.
