A Monday evening traffic stop in Gering lands two Alliance men behind bars.

26-year-old Moses Dawn and 42-year-old passenger Marco Dubray were pulled over on Birch Street, and a search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of a bag of suspected meth, a scale and baggies, and a pair of brass knuckles.

Both were arrested on charges of Possession of Meth (10 to 27 grams) and No Drug Tax Stamp, while Dawn is facing an additional charge of Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person.

They were arraigned on the charges Wednesday, and will be back in court on March 22nd for their preliminary hearings.
