Keith David Ferreyra, 44 of Denver, Colorado, earned his wings and entered into Heaven Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

The family requests guests wear Dallas Cowboy or their favorite football memorabilia to the memorial service held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 10:00 am at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.dugankramer.com.

He was born on April 2, 1980 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Daniel R. Ferreyra and Caroline (Ivey) Ferreyra. He graduated from Western High School in Las Vegas, Nevada where he lived many years and considered his home city and wanted to return to in the future.

When he lost his father in 2015, he hit his lowest point. From that he started on his road to recovery and he never looked back only moving forward but never forgetting the second chance he had been given.  Which is why he strongly believed in second chances for change and growth in yourself thru hard work. With his amazing positive attitude, sheer power, and unwavering patience, he handled the hard stuff well. You wanted him on your team, and there are many teams out there who will feel his absence. His team at Home Depot was always on his mind and said many times that he had the best team in the company and his store was the most outstanding store and so proud to be working there! He made many strong and lasting friendships and they felt like family to him. He was so proud of the accomplishments he had with them.

He embodied the best qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and unending generosity that could be seen in his care he took of his mother.

His departure comes as a great shock and deep wound, and is gravely felt by his entire family who loved him deeply.

Survivors include: his mother Carol “Nan” (Ivey) Ferreyra; siblings Linda Brown, Cindy (Diego) Lopez, Robert (Pam) Ferreyra, Michelle Ferreyra, Sandy (Joel) Pattinson, Valerie Ferreyra; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends whom he considered family.

Family who went before him: his father Daniel R Ferreyra, paternal grandparents Henry and Nellie Ferreyra, maternal grandparents Elmer and Ellen Ivey, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.  He recently lost his beloved aunt Missy in June, whom I’m sure was there to meet him with open arms at Heaven’s gate.
