The Wisner-Pilger Volleyball Team lost 3-0 at home to North Bend Central Thursday night.

Jeff’s Match Recap:

The Tigers won set one 25-20, set two 25-13, and set three 25-19. Charli Jacobs had 8 kills while Haley Kneifl notched 7 kills and 8 digs. Sydney Porter added 12 digs and 12 set assists while Hannah Grenier totaled 8 digs. Ramsey Arduser compiled 10 set assists.

Jeff’s Pender Triangular Preview:

Wisner-Pilger (3-8) takes on Pender (3-8) and Stanton (7-6) at the Pender Triangular Tuesday night. The Pendragons fell 3-0 at Wakefield Thursday night while the Mustangs won 2-0 over Ponca, but lost 2-0 to Clarkson/Leigh and Hartington Cedar Catholic at the Stanton Tournament on Saturday.

Jeff’s Take on the Triangular:

It should be a very good Triangular between these teams. Things should be intense and highly competitive in every match. The Triangular is a huge opportunity for all three teams, and whoever wins it will more than likely feel pretty good about themselves. Stanton is probably the favorite to win it, but both Wisner-Pilger and Pender are both capable of playing well and making noise in this Triangular so the Mustangs are going to have to earn it if they are to win it.
