The Wisner-Pilger Volleyball Team lost 3-0 at Oakland-Craig Thursday night and 3-2 at Elkhorn Valley Tuesday night.

The Knights won set one 25-21, set two 25-23, and set three 25-19. Hannah Grenier had 21 digs while Haley Kneifl and Charli Jacobs posted 13 apiece. Sydney Porter added 9 digs and 13 set assists. Ramsey Arduser tallied 9 set assists.
Jeff’s Elkhorn Valley Recap:
The Falcons won set one 25-17 before the Gators took set two 25-18 and set three 25-19. Elkhorn Valley won set four 25-19 and set five 17-15.
Jeff’s North Bend Central Preview:
Wisner-Pilger (3-7) hosts North Bend Central (7-5) Thursday night. The Tigers won 2-0 over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, but lost 2-0 to Fremont Bergan at the Fremont Bergan Triangular Tuesday night. NBC beat the Gators 2-0 at the Northeast Nebraska Jean Groth Classic in Wisner on September 7th.
Jeff’s Take on the Contest:
Wisner-Pilger has to come out and play hard come Thursday night. The Gators are coming off a tough, emotional loss on Tuesday, and have to turn that disappointment into a big roar with big hits and spikes. Wisner-Pilger has to be ticked off about losing 7 in a row, and must do something about it. The Tigers have already beat the Gators on their home floor once this year, and Wisner-Pilger has to do everything they can to make sure that doesn’t happen again.
