The Wisner-Pilger Football Team rolled Wakefield 50-8 at home Friday night.

Jeff’s Tri County Northeast Preview:

Wisner-Pilger (2-2) takes on Tri County Northeast (1-3) on the road in Emerson Friday night. The Wolfpack lost 31-12 at home to Pender in action from Allen that was aired on 107.9 the Bull Friday night.

Jeff’s Take on the Contest:

This should be a competitive ball game. The Gators have to watch out for Ben Jorgensen, Brayden McCorkindale, and Bryan Isom, and must know where those 3 are at at all times. Wisner-Pilger has to make sure to limit those 3’s production and efficiency throughout the game. They have to get after them and get their hands on the ball and tackle and block them well. Wisner-Pilger has to be physical at the point of attack and must take it to Tri County Northeast for 4 quarters. In the end, I think the Gators win, but the Wolfpack are going to provide a tough test and challenge for sure.
