Winnebago Volleyball 1-3 in last four matches

The Winnebago Volleyball Team fell 2-0 to Lyons-Decatur Northeast and Tri County Northeast at their Home Triangular last Thursday night before falling 2-0 to Waltill, but beating Omaha Nation 2-1 at the Walthill Triangular Tuesday night.

Jeff’s Lyons-Decatur Northeast Recap:

The Cougars won set one 25-12 and set two 25-13.

Tri County Northeast Recap:

The Wolfpack won set one 25-10 and set two 25-11.

Walthill Recap:

The Blujays took set one 26-24 and set two 25-11.

Jeff’s Omaha Nation Recap:

Bago won set one 25-22 and set three 26-24 after losing set two 25-16.

Winnebago (2-13) takes on Winside (6-6) on the road Tonight. The Wildcats swept Pender 3-0 at home Monday night.

Jeff’s Take on the Match:

This is going to be a tough one for the Indians. But I tell you what…if Bago plays the way they did against Omaha Nation then anything is possible. That was a huge win for the Indians as the two teams have pretty much nearly opposite records. It shows what Winnebago can be, and I think it’s something the Indians can really build upon and hang their hat on. We’ll see what sort of impact or effect that has on tonight’s match if any.
