The Winnebago Volleyball Team fell 3-0 at Winside last Thursday night before losing 2-0 to Homer, but beating Whiting, IA 2-0 at the Whiting, IA Triangular Tuesday night.

The Wildcats won set one 25-12, set two 25-22, and set three 25-18.

Winnebago (4-15) takes on Norfolk Catholic (17-3) at the Wisner-Pilger Tournament on Saturday. The Knights swept Aquinas 3-0 on the road Tuesday night. First serve is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
Jeff’s Take on the Tournament:
This is a stacked tournament with a lot of good teams and competition. I think Norfolk Catholic will be really tough for Winnebago. I think the Indians can find success in their 2nd and 3rd matches of the day though should they fall to the Knights. Winnebago can’t get discouraged should they lose their first match just given how good a team Norfolk Catholic is.
