Behind a brilliant pitching performance from Elliot Reeson, the West Point Juniors defeated Alliance 6-0 in the second round of the Class B State Legion Baseball Tournament on Sunday night in Valley, in a game aired on 107.9 The Bull.
West Point scored two runs in the first inning, one in the second, two in the fourth and one in the fifth.
Reeson pitched a complete game shutout, allowing just two hits and three walks while striking out four.
At the plate for West Point, Ryder Anderson-Ray had an RBI double. Isaac Guenther recorded two singles and an RBI. Colby Anderson and Mason Toelle each had an RBI single.
West Point moves on to the quarterfinals where they will meet undefeated Central City on Monday night at 7:00.
The game will be aired on 107.9 The Bull.
