At last week’s West Point City Council Meeting, a public hearing was held for the 1 and 6 Year Street Improvement Program. City Administrator Tom Goulette has more.
Goulette says the alley behind the West Point Community Theatre is being redone for about $98,000.
A bid was also accepted for a new maintainer for about $315,000 that is expected to arrive in the next couple of weeks.
There was also a discussion on the Eagles and Levee Properties in Closed Session, and Goulette says he expects another meeting on the Eagles Club Property soon with a pre-construction date of October 21st for the Levee Project.
Goulette adds more flushings of the Water System started Monday afternoon and will continue on the low side through Wednesday or Thursday and finishing up on the high side right after that.
