The West Point-Beemer Volleyball Team won 2-0 over Wisner-Pilger and Lyons-Decatur Northeast at the Lyons-Decatur Northeast Double Triangular Tuesday night before downing Schuyler 3-0 at home Thursday night.
Jeff’s Wisner-Pilger Recap:
The Cadets won set one 25-21 and set two 25-20. Allie Kaup had 9 kills and 9 digs while Mia Hunke totaled 9 kills. Addison Toelle added 19 digs while Campbell Snodgrass totaled 11. Campbell Consbruck registered 9 digs and 21 set assists while Neveah Weborg added 8 digs.
Jeff’s Lyons-Decatur Northeast Recap:
The Cadets won set one 25-17 and set two 25-7. Kaup had 9 kills while Hunke notched 8. Consbruck posted 13 digs and 16 set assists while Toelle and Snodgrass recorded 12 and 10 digs, respectively.
Jeff’s Schuyler Recap:
The Cadets won set one 25-15, set two 25-7, and set three 25-16. Kaup had 17 kills and 9 digs while Hunke chipped in 10 kills. Toelle contributed 12 digs while Consbruck compiled 7 digs and 27 set assists.
Jeff’s Tekamah-Herman Preview:
West Point-Beemer (6-5) takes on Tekamah-Herman (7-6) on the road Tuesday night in action that will be aired on 107.9 the Bull. The Tigers went 2-3 at the Wakefield Invite on Thursday and Saturday. Match time is set for 7:00 p.m.
Jeff’s Take on the Match:
This should be a dandy between these two teams. Both teams are pretty even and equal if you ask me. The Cadets are playing very good Volleyball right now, and are poised to potentially take this match. Tekamah-Herman has been having a good season themselves so far so this match should be tightly contested and close throughout.
