The West Point-Beemer Football Team fell 49-14 at home to Hartington Cedar Catholic Friday night in action that was aired on Classic Country KTIC.

Jeff’s Game Recap:

The Trojans led 21-6 at the end of the 1st quarter and won the 2nd quarter 14-8 to take a 35-14 lead into the locker room. Cedar Catholic shutout the Cadets 14-0 in the 4th quarter. The Trojans had 405 yards of total offense, including 337 rushing. Head Coach Jacob Ellis commented on the loss.

Jeff’s Norfolk Catholic Preview:

West Point-Beemer (3-2) hosts Norfolk Catholic (5-0) Friday night. The Knights won 43-16 at home over Ponca last week.

Jeff’s Take on the Game:

This is going to be another really difficult game for the Cadets. The Knights are probably the best team in the District if not the State so West Point-Beemer really has their work cut out for them. To be the best you have to beat the best though, and that certainly holds true for the Cadets in this instance. We’ll see what West Point-Beemer can do on Friday.
