One arrest is on the activity summary for the Washington County Sheriff’s office for September 23rd through Friday morning – a 19-year old male for drunk driving on Highway 133 and County Road 26. A hay bale fire at county Roads p-51 and p-49 yesterday was handled twice by the Fort Calhoun Volunteer Fire Department. Another Hay Bale fire at the same location earlier in the week, also handled by Fort Calhoun crews. Horses were out on the roadway in the 14 thousand block of Highway 91 – those horses were wrangled and moved off the highway until the owners could retrieve them.
