A person took a vehicle without permission from 6100 block of Hidden Valley Road, a traffic stop later in the evening located the vehicle, the driver, a 42-year old woman was arrested for driving under suspension, the owner of the stolen vehicle, however no longer wanted to pursue Mother Vehicle Theft charges. Also on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity summary for August 5th through Friday morning, a 25-year old woman was arrested on Highway 133 for second offense drunk driving, reckless driving, obstruction, resisting arrest, assault on an officer and refusal of test. An ATV stolen out of Tecumseh was retrieved in the 6700 block of County Road 15. Among the matters on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, a person living in Saint Paul, Nebraska was scammed over a Facebook Marketplace add for farm equipment, purporting to be in the Blair area. The Facebook account appears to have been hijacked and not local. The victim was advised to file a report with law enforcement in his area.
