UNO Volleyball falls to Drake at Omaha Challenge

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha volleyball (0-4, 0-0 Summit League) fell to Drake in three sets Thursday evening inside Baxter Arena to begin the second weekend of the 2024 season. The Bulldogs’ victory marks their first of the young campaign.

McKenna Ruch led all Mavs with nine kills while Julia Owens contributed 14 assists. Kenedy Schaecher added a team-high 10 digs in the outing.

The Bulldogs’ Macy Daufeldt led all players with 13 kills in 29 attempts for a hitting mark of .310.

Omaha returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 1 p.m. against Oklahoma inside Baxter Arena in the MH Hospitality Omaha Challenge. The Bulldogs finish the weekend against the Sooners tomorrow, Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. CT.
