The Tri County Northeast Football Team lost 31-12 at home to Pender Friday night in action from Allen that was aired on 107.9 the Bull.

Jeff’s Game Recap:

Pender led 7-6 after one and 17-6 at the end of three. The Pendragons outscored the Wolfpack 14-6 in the 4th quarter to make up the final score. Ben Jorgensen was 8-18 passing for 106 yards and a TD. Bryan Isom made 3 catches for 64 yards and a TD. Jorgensen had 8 carries for 56 yards and a TD while Brayden McCorkindale ran the ball 15 times for 50 yards. Isom had 16 tackles while Jackson Belt and Dylan Boyle each made 10. Jace Malasek and Bernard Juarez each totaled 7. The Wolfpack amassed 209 yards of total offense while Pender had 257 yards of total offense, including 217 rushing. Head Coach Jake Kneifl on the loss. “Another tough fought game. I am very proud of how this team played until the very end in a hard hitting, physical game.”

Jeff’s Wisner-Pilger Preview:

Tri County Northeast (1-3) hosts Wisner-Pilger (2-2) in Emerson Friday night. The Gators won 50-8 at home over Wakefield last week.

Jeff’s Take on the Contest:

This should be a good game. Wisner-Pilger is the “bigger” school so to speak so the Wolfpack have their work cut out for them. The Gators probably have more size, but Tri County Northeast might be a little more shiftier and elusive. The game could go either way in my estimation. Both teams are tough and capable of playing well so it will be interesting to see how this one turns out.
