Jeff’s Game Recap:
The Knights led 21-0 at the end of the 1st quarter and 33-0 at halftime. O-C blanked the Tigers 8-0 in both the 3rd and 4th quarters to make up the final score. Alex Braniff made 9 tackles. Tekamah-Herman was held to just 89 yards of total offense while giving up 559, including 333 through the air.
Jeff’s Hartington Cedar Catholic Preview:
Tekamah-Herman (0-3) hosts Hartington Cedar Catholic (2-1) Friday night. The Trojans won 34-6 at home over Fremont Bergan last week.
Jeff’s Take on the Contest:
This is going to be another tough game for the Tigers, much like the Oakland-Craig game was. Cedar Catholic and Oakland-Craig are very comparable teams so Tekamah-Herman has to bring it. The Tigers have to find ways to be more productive on offense and have to find a way to slow down the Trojans’ high-powered offense. Tekamah-Herman has to be physical as I feel the physical nature of the game will play a big part in this one.
