The Bridge, an organization based in Fremont, but with other offices in its five county district, helps people who are dealing with domestic abuse and sexual assault.
The director, Suzanne Smith, says the organization has seen a steady increase in the number of people needing their services. Helping people out of abusive situations, prepare safety plans and other crisis intervention are some of what can be expected from The Bridge.
