SIOUX CITY, IOWA – A record-setting weekend for Morningside Football has earned Drew Sellon the team’s first Great Plains Athletic Conference player of the week honor.
Sellon, a sophomore wide receiver from Fremont, Neb., had 18 receptions for 201 yards, reaching the end zone twice. His 18 catches set a program single-game record, besting the old mark of 16 receptions by Gary Pettit in 1968.
The Mustangs head to Midland this week, kicking off at 1 p.m. in Fremont.
