Rural Radio Network and partners to broadcast 1st Congressional District debate

The Rural Radio Network is partnering with several Nebraska media outlets to present a live hour-long television debate, “Nebraska Debate 1st Congressional District 2024,” airing statewide at 2 p.m. CT, Sunday, Sept. 15 on Nebraska Public Media. It will also be aired on KRVN/ Lexington 880 AM and krvn.com at 7:00pm this Sunday evening. KTIC-AM/West Point 840 AM will air at at 5:00pm on Monday Sept. 16 at 5:00pm and also online at kticradio.com.

Republican incumbent Mike Flood will debate Democratic challenger Carol Blood in the Ron Hull Studio at Nebraska Public Media in Lincoln.

Nebraska Examiner political reporter Aaron Sanderford will moderate the debate. The presenting partners include the “Nebraska Examiner,” the “Omaha World-Herald,” the “Lincoln Journal Star” and the “Rural Radio Network”.

This Congressional debate is part of Nebraska Public Media’s “Campaign Connection 2024” coverage, a multiplatform effort that focuses on providing information to voters about Nebraska contests and issues, as well as the race for the White House.
