Ribbon Cutting Ceremony held for Blair’s Hollow Road South By-Pass
September 5th, 2024 | Connie Green

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Thursday morning at Blair’s Hollow Road South By-Pass drew several of the people who were instrumental in the beginning stages of the By-Pass and those that helped complete the multi-decade project. Former Blair Mayor Jim Realph.

Current mayor Mindy Rump says the project helps commerce, but most importantly, it helps keep people safe:

Downtown Blair is intersected by Highways 30, 75, 91 and 133 and has high volume truck traffic for livestock, grain and other commercial endeavors. Work with the Nebraska Department of Transportation resulted in the traffic lights at the intersection of the By-Pass and Highway 30. A traffic study will be conducted soon in an effort to have lights installed on the Highway 75 intersection of the By-Pass.
