FREMONT – In an effort to support families who’ve suffered pregnancy or infant loss while honoring the memory of their littlest loved ones, Methodist Fremont Health will host a Remembrance of Life ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 5 p.m.
This nondenominational memorial service – which is open to parents, family members, friends and community members – will be held at the water feature in the east parking lot of the hospital (450 E. 23rd St. in Fremont).
Families will be invited to share the names and memories of those they’ve lost on butterfly ornaments that will be displayed in the hospital’s butterfly garden throughout the month of October (Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month). Staff will offer comfort and support through scripture, song and silent reflection.
