Oakland man charged with DUI, Motor Vehicle Homicide in Fatal Crash in Omaha Metro

A 25-year old Oakland man is in hot water following a fatal crash on I-80 in Omaha overnight Saturday.

The Omaha Police Department reports Maison King was driving a Kia Sportage the wrong way and struck a Ford Fusion just after 1:30 a.m., causing an uber driver and unrestrained passenger to die.

The unrestrained passenger of the Ford Fusion was 26-year old Ross Lewis, of Wilber.

The Uber Driver was 30-year old Kyle Arnold, of Omaha.

Another unrestrained rear passenger, 24-year old Jessica Mutchler, of Shenandoah, IA, was taken to UNMC with life-threatening injuries while the Front Passenger of the Ford Fusion, 29-year old Cole Lambrecht, of Kearney, was treated for minor injuries.

King faces two counts of motor vehicle homicide, DUI, and other possible charges.
