The North Bend Central Football Team fell 24-14 at home to Tekamah-Herman Friday night.

Jeff’s Game Recap:

Tekamah-Herman led 3-0 at the end of the 1st quarter before NBC won the 2nd quarter 8-7 to make it a 10-8 game at halftime. Tekamah-Herman outscored North Bend Central 14-6 in the 4th quarter. NBC gave up 176 yards of total offense, including 98 rushing.

Arlington Preview:

North Bend Central (0-5) takes on Arlington (1-4) on the road Friday night. The Eagles lost 20-12 at Aquinas last Thursday.

Jeff’s Take on the Contest:

Another opportunity for the Tigers to pick up a win. NBC didn’t get it done last week, but this week is a new week and a new game. It certainly hasn’t been the type of season the Tigers were hoping for or expecting, but this team has to be resilient and continue to show fight. North Bend Central is fully capable of going into Arlington and winning so we’ll see what the Tigers can do come Friday night.
