KANSAS CITY, MO. – Morningside Volleyball made moves in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics ratings this week, climbing to a share of the no. 15 spot with 292 points.
The no. 15 rating represents Morningside’s highest position since 2009.
The Mustangs’ ascent has been fueled by wins over (RV) College of Idaho, no. 15 Montana Western, no. 25 Ottawa, and (RV) Dakota State, as well as tight contests with no. 3 Eastern Oregon and no. 9 Jamestown.
The Mustangs’ home opener on Sept. 11, will feature Northwestern, who is now the no. 1 team in the country.
