The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Volleyball Team lost 2-0 to Conestoga and 2-1 to Arlington at the Arlington Triangular Thursday night.
Jeff’s Conestoga Recap:
The Cougars won set one 26-24 and set two 25-18. Neveah Vacha had 18 digs while Kacee Booth totaled 10 digs and 18 set assists. Paityn Vacha added 7 digs.
Arlington Recap:
The Raiders won set one 25-19 before the Eagles took set two 25-20 and set three 25-21. Miley Silva had 9 kills while Riley Jackson notched 8 kills and 10 digs. Booth registered 20 digs and 23 set assists while Neveah Vacha had 20 digs. Gracelyn Hilker contributed 10 while Paityn Vacha chipped in 8.
Louisville Preview:
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (5-17) hosts Louisville (8-9) Thursday night. The Lions fell 2-0 Johnson County Central and 2-1 to Weeping Water at their home Triangular Tuesday night.
Jeff’s Take on the Contest:
This is going to be a tough match for the Raiders. I think Logan View/Scribner-Snyder will play and compete well, but it won’t be easy. The Raiders have to step up and put together a great effort and match come Thursday night. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to hustle and play with intensity. The Raiders have to fight until the very end regardless of the score. LVSS has to play with the Heart of a Champion and a motor that keeps on going.
