Jeff’s Game Recap:

Josh Egbers had 19 carries for 90 yards and 2 TD’s. Ryan Smith added 11 carries for 62 yards. Grayson Kraus and Chaise Hilbers each made 8 tackles while Smith totaled 7. The Raiders had 223 yards of total offense, 198 coming on the ground.

Jeff’s Wayne Preview:

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (0-3) hosts Wayne (1-2) Friday night. The Blue Devils won 36-13 at home over Omaha Brownell-Talbot last week.

Jeff’s Take on the Contest:

This game is going to be interesting. Both of the Blue Devils’ losses are to Omaha Roncalli and Hartington Cedar Catholic, both very good teams. The game being in Wayne adds to the degree of difficulty for the Raiders too. It can be easy to get discouraged after the struggles and heartbreaking and tough losses this team has endured in the early season, but the Raiders can’t give up. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to remain upbeat and positive, and must find a way to turn things around yet this season.
