October 8th, 2024 | Jeff Axtell

The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Football Team lost 28-14 at home to Fort Calhoun Friday night.

Jeff’s Game Recap:

The game was tied at 7 at halftime. The Pioneers led 14-7 at halftime. Both teams traded touchdowns in the 3rd quarter, and Fort Calhoun led 21-14 at the end of three. The Pioneers added another touchdown in the 4th quarter. The Raiders were stopped inside the 5 twice. Josh Egbers had 138 rushing on 17 carries, and a touchdown. Grayson Kraus had 14 carries for 79 yards. The Raiders had 278 yards of total offense, including 267 rushing.

Jeff’s Wahoo Preview:

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (2-4) takes on Wahoo (6-0) on the road Friday night. The Warriors won 55-0 at Elkhorn Mount Michael last week.

Jeff’s Take on the Contest:

This is going to be a difficult game for the Raiders. Wahoo is very good, probably better than Fort Calhoun. The fact that the game is in Wahoo makes it more difficult too. I think Logan View/Scribner-Snyder can go in there and compete and hold their own though. The Raiders have been very competitive this year, and I don’t look for them to be phased by playing Wahoo at their place. I look for LVSS to go out there and play hard and try and win a Football Game.
