Wayne, Neb. — Wayne State College junior Dylan Kneifl was announced late Tuesday afternoon by NCAA as a national qualifier in the high jump for the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships March 10 and 11th in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Kneifl, a junior from Pilger (Wisner-Pilger HS), is an indoor national qualifier for the first time after clearing a season-best 6’ 11 ½” at the SDSU Last Chance Meet February 18th. He is ranked 13th in NCAA Division II entering nationals and will compete on Saturday, March 11th at 4:05 p.m. Kneifl earned All-NSIC honors last weekend with a second-place finish at the NSIC Indoor Championships in Mankato clearing 6’ 9 ½”.
