Jensen talks KTIC Area and Northeast Nebraska Football

Bob Jensen from the Huskerland Prep Report spoke with KTIC Sports about Football teams in the listening area for the upcoming season. Jensen says GACC should be improved.

The Bluejays went 2-6 last year under 1st year Head Coach Matt Schlaebitz.

Jensen talks about West Point-Beemer and their move to Class C-2.

Jensen says he feels the Cadets could win a game they’re not supposed to.

Howells-Dodge is coming off a State Semifinal appearance last year. Jensen says he expects a similar result this year from the Jaguars despite their lack of experience.

The Jaguars went 9-3 last season.

Howells Dodge’s rival just down the road on Highway 91, Clarkson/Leigh, figures to be good again this year as well. Jensen comments on what he expects to see from the Patriots.

The Patriots reached the 2nd round of the playoffs last year before falling to North Platte St. Pat’s.

Jensen says Pender should be tough as nails.

The Pendragons lost to eventual State Runner-Up EMF in the 1st round of the playoffs last year.

Jensen says both Bancroft-Rosalie and Lyons-Decatur Northeast should be improved.

The Panthers finished 3-5 last year while the Cougars went 2-6.

Jensen says Wisner-Pilger should be salty.

The Gators went 5-4 a season ago, losing to Cross County in the opening round of the playoffs.

Jensen says Oakland-Craig should be electric.

The Knights reached the State Quarterfinals last year before falling to Yutan.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder looks to build on the run they made towards the end of last year. Jensen talks about what he expects to see from the Raiders this year.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder went 3-6 a year ago.

Jensen says North Bend Central should be pretty decent.

The Tigers went 5-4 last season.

Jensen says Stanton is the Poster Child for this year’s Huskerland Prep Magazine.

The Mustangs are the defending Class D-1 State Champs.
