The Nebraska softball team will compete in the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Cathedral City, Calif., NU announced Wednesday.
The 2025 season will mark the second straight year that the Huskers take part in the tournament, and the 13th time in program history.
The Big Red will open the weekend with a Thursday doubleheader on Feb. 20. NU will face Baylor at 4:30 p.m. (CT) and UCLA at 9:30 p.m. (CT). Both the Bears and Bruins qualified for last year’s NCAA tournament.
On Friday, Feb. 21, Nebraska will face off against 2024 NCAA Tournament qualifier Duke at 3 p.m. (CT). NU will have another doubleheader on Saturday, competing against San Jose State at 7:30 p.m. (CT), followed by a 10 p.m. (CT) matchup with Howard.
The Huskers close out the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic against Utah on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. (CT)
