The Guardian Angels Central Catholic Football Team won 47-6 at home over Homer Friday night.

Jeff’s Game Recap:

Chase Smith had 145 yards rushing on 10 carries and a score. Luke Guenther had 51 yards rushing on 15 carries. Sam Hass was 6-8 passing for 120 yards and a TD. Cody Hass made 4 receptions for 72 yards. GACC had 386 yards of total offense, 259 coming on the ground.

Jeff’s Wakefield Preview:

GACC (4-0) takes on Wakefield (0-4) Friday night in action that will be aired on 107.9 the Bull. The Trojans fell 50-8 at Wisner-Pilger last week. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. on the Bull with pregame beginning at 6:30.

Jeff’s Take on the Contest:

I look for the Bluejays to win this one, and win this one big. I think GACC will lay the smackdown on Wakefield and show them just how good they really are. I think the Bluejays will have all the momentum in the world coming into next week’s District Showdown with Pender. I look for GACC to obliterate the Trojans come Friday night, and leave town with a big win. The Bluejays have to come ready to play though like they have all season. GACC can’t take Wakefield lightly and think they’ve got it in the bag before they even play. That said, I look for the Bluejays to come in ready to dominate and leave with a sense of euphoria heading into next week’s game.
