Final Results: Wakefield and Adamson compete at Canadian Finals Rodeo

The 2024 Canadian Finals Rodeo took place October 3-5 in Edmonton, Alberta. Two Nebraskans made the were among the top 12 tie down ropers in the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association standings, and qualified for the event.

Riley Wakefield of O’Neill and JT Adamson of Cody competed in five rounds of competition over the course of three days. Wakefield ended the finals sixth in the average, with 54.2 seconds on five calves. Adamson finished 11th with 27.4 seconds on three.

Wakefield entered the CFR #1 in the all-around standings, and left Edmonton as the 2024 Reserve All-Around Cowboy.

PRCA World Champion Haven Meged claimed the 2024 Canadian Finals Championship Title, and looks to compete in his sixth National Finals Rodeo this December.
